I loved playing Link's Awakening and the cute art style. This game has me excited. I just hope this game is bigger and deeper. My only complaint with Link's Awakening was it was too short. I know it was originally a game boy game but I just wanted more!

The new creator of The Legend of Zelda decided that timelines were making everything too complicated and slowing down production, so they decided to scrap the whole thing and just make Zelda games as standalone games

I think another possibility is that the game is a sequel to fsa, and Nintendo might double down on fsa being a ct thing.

I've noticed something people aren't mentioning. Most people are guessing there is a time limit on spawns, because they start flashing, BUT if you look closely they only start flashing when Zelda no longer has enough tris, and it's the oldest thing she spawned that flashes. Look at the first bed at the Gerudo section, when she spawns the trampoline the oldest bed she put down flashes. I think it isn't a timer but a 'if you spawn something else, this flashing one will despawn'.

I play tons of open world games, BOTW and TOTK are the ONLY ones without a linear story. I hope Nintendo wises up for the future because it's my chief complaint against both games.

"It is clear" No its not. The simplest explanation is they reused the same model from Link's Awakening remake. Remember that in Link's Awakening, the Ganon design was always supposed to be based on LTTP to begin with despite the trident shape not matching. The rest of the world being so significantly different from LTTP's world kills the idea of it being directly adjacent to LTTP.

Aonuma’s shirt was made by Editmode of Kyoto Japan. It was limited edition from their “Open Office 2024 Volume 2” event which was April 27th-May 6th. You had to physically go to their store to buy one for 5800 yen but I’m sure he got one dropped off at his office for free

Link fails in his fight with Ganon... I think this is the event that BEGINS the Downfall Timeline!! Any relation to the previously released Link's Awakening is likely due to asset recycling (just like Majora's Mask). Reallly, I think this is a prequel to ALttP. This video is the highest detail I've ever seen, even looking at T-Shirts! Very well done, sir... Chapeau!!

The trident could just be a reused assets I mean why would they make a new trident when they already had the model of that one from the Links Awakening Remake. I do think it being a sequel to Link to the past would be interesting however

You made a very convincing argument, not gonna lie. However, given Nintendo loves making us speculate these kind of things and showing something that impactful on timeline placement that early is something that Nintendo never really does (at least, not anymore), I don't those Zora have anything to do with Oren. It's also way too obvious too. Not to mention, as I just said, if this had anything to do with Oren, we wouldn't even be looking at this right now as it's too early for any major timeline placement implication to be revealed yet. Nintendo usually likes to save for that stuff for later. It's not really a bad theory, but I'd have to strongly disagree as, one, it's too early call as we don't really know much of anything yet. And second, I'm personally of the belief that this is after FSA because the Gerudo exist and there's two mountains like in FSA instead of one, like in ALttP/ALBW. Remember people thought that FSA was before ALttP based on Ganon getting his Trident and the war involving the knights of Hyrule, assuming it was the Sealing War from ALttP. Only to turn out that FSA was after TP in the Child Timeline instead. The same could happen with this game, despite possible connections to the Downfall Timeline. I also initially thought this could be in DT, but after Zelda 2, replacing my placement of Cadence of Hyrule as the canon version of that. However, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that placing this in the CT actually makes more sense, especially given how we seen Hyrule falling apart due to the rift fissures. And the CT is the only timeline that doesn't have a destruction and rebirth of Hyrule event yet. In the AT, we know Hyrule was destroyed due to a flood. And in the DT, we know Hyrule was destroyed due to war and Ganon's invasion throughout the land during the events throughout all of the Era of Decline leading into the first Zelda game. Because of the war against Ganon, Hyrule had to spread out and even build multiple castles. Only for at least two of them to be destroyed by Ganon. Leaving just the North Castle left, as seen in Zelda 2. But we don't yet know how Hyrule inevitably gets destroyed in the CT. At least, potentially, until now. Though, there is no confirmation and it's not set in stone yet, I feel like it's inevitable that this is the CT because of that detail. But we'll have to wait and see. As I said, Nintendo always likes to keep things so vague and cryptic this early on. I think everything lore wise that they've shown so far is just food for thought at the moment, like they did with Tears of the Kingdom. Those Zora could be Oren's parents, or they could just be the CT's counterparts/equivalents, like what happened with FSA's Knights of Hyrule and Ganon's Trident deal just happening to be like the ones of the DT, but different. Maybe this game gives us the idea of how Oren came to be in the DT, even if that's not exactly how things went for the two Zora kinds in this game's timeline. Nintendo loves treating this lore stuff like a bunch of puzzle pieces to a big puzzle that is the timeline to make us think.
